Which is the best network? HBO, AMC, FX, TNT, etc...?

I was just wondering this after I read a recent article saying HBO has
fallen from its throne as the best in original programming. As a
student of writing and film making myself, I have discovered that the
best storytelling is character-driven stories such as the infamous
"The Sopranos" and the recent "Breaking Bad", amongst many others.

But as a television and film nerd, I was wondering if anyone could
weigh in their opinions of which network as the best original
programming right now. My vote is for AMC due to its having "Breaking
Bad" and "The Walking Dead", two genre programs that are pushing
boundaries and obliterating expectations of those who at first glance
shake them off as being a "crime show" and "horror show".
